Venice of the East, Alleppey.
My Dear Alleppey,
In the heart of God's Own Country, where the backwaters weave tales of timeless beauty, I found a sanctuary that mirrored love's depth and tranquillity. Your emerald canals, embraced by swaying palms, cradle a romance that unfolds with the gentle ripple of water beneath my houseboat.
I sat there, on the deck of my houseboat with a cup of coffee watching the breathtaking sunsets that fill every thought of mine. As the sky turned a canvas of stars, I lay there, mesmerized by your whispers - waves singing a lullaby. Amidst my stargazing, the moon played hide and seek behind the clouds.
I was with you only for a day but that one day might be my favorite. That day I became a part of a celestial ballet, lost in the rhymes of your tranquil waters, like a love story written in the reflection of moonlight. Thank you for the serenity and dreams you let me paint in your limitless night sky.
I shall be back Alleppey, soon, and this time for a lot longer.
With Love,
V
