The City of Dazzling Seascapes, Kochi

Kochi Beach, India. Dear Kochi, As I sit here with the echoes of our time together resonating in my heart, I am compelled to pour my feelings. You have left a mark on my soul with your enchanting blend of history and modernity. The first day was a poetic dance on the sands of Aaraka Beach, where the sun and the sea seemed to applaud my presence. The allure of Fort Kochi, adorned with the rhythmic poetry of Chinese Fishing nets, drew me into a timeless embrace. My stay at the Bolgatty Palace felt like a scene straight out of a romance movie, surrounded by lush landscapes and the serenade of backwaters.  On the second day, the lively energy of Kochi Marine Drive mirrored the joy in my heart. The city lights reflected in the water, capturing the essence of your sparkle. Every step became a verse, weaving a narrative of discovery. The crescendo of my journey reached its peak at The Kochi Muziris Biennale, where art and culture intertwined in a beautiful symphony. Kochi, you're ...

Alleppey Backwaters Houseboats, India.  My Dear Alleppey, In the heart of God's Own Country, where the backwaters weave tales of timeless beauty, I found a sanctuary that mirrored love's depth and tranquillity. Your emerald canals, embraced by swaying palms, cradle a romance that unfolds with the gentle ripple of water beneath my houseboat. I sat there, on the deck of my houseboat with a cup of coffee watching the breathtaking sunsets that fill every thought of mine. As the sky turned a canvas of stars, I lay there, mesmerized by your whispers - waves singing a lullaby. Amidst my stargazing, the moon played hide and seek behind the clouds.  I was with you only for a day but that one day might be my favorite. That day I became a part of a celestial ballet, lost in the rhymes of your tranquil waters, like a love story written in the reflection of moonlight. Thank you for the serenity and dreams you let me paint in your limitless night sky. I shall be back Alleppey, soon,...

My Dear Bangalore

Vidhan Saudha, Bengaluru, India. Dear Bengaluru,   When I think of a home away from home, a place I would go to in a heartbeat, it would be you. I first met you when I was four, I don’t remember a lot from our first meet but, what I do know is that I have a weird but special connection with you that keeps pulling me back to you. With every meeting, I fall for you more and more. Your gardens have taught me to love nature, your streets have taught me patience, your people have taught me love, your food is my comfort and your sunsets are just perfect. Also, one of your girls has my heart. With you my time passes in the blink of an eye. When I think of you Bangalore, I get exited like a small girl at the mention of her favorite candy. Oh and there will be a next time yet again. Wait for me.   With Love, V
